The METP has organised its work programmes around job cards provided by the ANC. The panel has agreed to handle the complex work programmes by the formation of different working groups.

The METP is currently comprised of four working groups to complete its work programmes as given below:

• Meteorological Requirements and Development (MRAD)
• Meteorological Information Exchange (MIE)
  
• Meteorological Operations Group (MOG)
  
• Meteorological Cost Recovery Guidance and Governance (MCRGG)

Each of the working groups has a rapporteur/co-rapporteurs who report to the METP Chairpeeson and specific work streams, each of which have a coordinator responsible for managing their assigned work.
